About Me

Hello, my name is Amy! I'm 25 years old and a graduate from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English with a creative writing focus and minored in psychology.

​In college, I completed two internships where I edited, published, and scheduled articles for websites, managed a team of writers, and collaborated with managing editors. During these opportunities, my passion for sharing stories and information online deepened. This has lead me to my current role as a Communications Associate at Lake Villa District Library. There, I manage the library's social medias, create content to promote library offerings, edit and send eNews campaigns, and collaborate with the communications team to conceptualize marketing ideas. I love being creative, editing videos, and learning along the way.

 

Career wise, I am seeking positions where my writing and editing skills will benefit a company's finished projects.
